Ampere Equity Fund has acquired a 39.6MW German onshore wind portfolio from Hurrikan Power Funding Holding. 
The wind farms, located in the Lüchow area in the municipalities of Schweskau, Tobringen and Lübbow-Bösel, came on line between 2008 and 2009.
They are comprised of 24 Enercon turbines and benefit from the 20-year German feed-in tariff. Triodos Bank Germany will provide senior debt for the deal, which involves the refinancing of existing debt facilities. Hurrikan was advised by Aeos Energy.   
Ampere Equity Fund reached final close with EUR320m of commitments at the end of 2008.
